Entries note Lawrence's professional activities during his tenure as bishop (1893 - 1927) and his continued involvement with the diocese following his retirement, including preaching engagements, visits to churches throughout Massachusetts, and attendance at various diocesan meetings and conferences. Lawrence also notes visits to Italy (1901, 1912) and Egypt (1912), and several trips to Episcopal conferences in England.
